Discussion: Dem Rep. Kihuen Won't Seek Reelection Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

That makes 21 Republican Congress members who will be leaving. So far.

With a wave election likely for Dem’s, or at least a very good year, most seats that Dem’s won in 2016 they will hold even without an incumbent. For republican’s on the other hand, every incumbent which doesn’t run may well cost them a seat in all but the reddest of districts.

Umm he’s a dem

This is another lynching. Here’s the offenses he is charged with: 1) Asking a woman out on a date more than once 2) Asking a woman for sex more than once 3) Touching a woman on the leg 2 times.

Disagree. At the least, persisting with the campaign aide is harassment given the power dynamic involved.

Did he Grab her by the Pussy ?

The difference is Dems are leaving office. Some Repubs are trying to hang on. Look at Scott DesJarlais, the doctor from Tennessee, who was 1) having an affair with a patient, 2) tried to force her into having an abortion after she got pregnant and 3) was reelected. This is supposed to be a pro-life, family values type of guy who got caught in the worst sort of way, but was reelected a couple of times after the scandal broke. Look at David Vitter. I mean the GOP relies on people forgetting their sins, even as they stand up spouting their fake values.
