I worked at government contractors all my life and the accounting rules were pretty much always mirrors of similar government rules. One year was magic if a relocation package was involved otherwise you had to pay it back. Of course, getting escorted off the property didn’t enable you to extend the effective date by a month and a half.

Just because she “uses Trump” doesn’t mean that she wasn’t fired and escorted out. Leaving on her own terms is not necessarily something she can control, though she may have been deluded that it would be.
