Gates is expressing the arrogance of (expected) immunity: Criminal impunity. This is what it means to live in a plutocratic kleptocracy like Russia; members in good standing with leadership have nothing to fear except loss of that standing.
I’m sure Muller’s team will be stating why they are not in agreement with Gate’s proposed bail deal and I’m sure it will be reasonable and the court will have to take it under consideration!
