Nice try. But Donald John Trump is still the one and only U.S. Constitution Article II executive President of the United States that we have. And a majority of the 63 million Americans who delivered Trump a meaningful Electoral College majority still support him for all of the reasons that Mr. Bruni condemns. None of those characteristics has any governing political impact.

I wonder if Trumpās antics about Charlottesville is a way for Trump to let his base know he is still with them even though Bannon is going away.

I think Bannon should be investigated for possible prosecution on the following things:
- His role in coordinating the transmission of Alt-right messaging to voters identified by RU through theft of voter data.
- His prior history at the Coconut Grove house - seems to be a lot of drugs, pornography and other depravities.
- His leak of confidential NSA discussions on NK. He damaged US foreign policy, negotiating leverage and standing with respect to NK. The leaks should be investigated and prosecuted. Bannonās lasting legacy is that Lilā Kim is going to survive as a nuclear tin pot dictator, and China now runs the show in Asia.
