Forced, for sure. But that American Prospect interview had to have pissed Trump off. I believe the gambit was for Bannon to straighten himself out a bit in the court of public opinion so he might become less of a liability.
He should’ve stuck with how proud he was of Trump. Then again, that wouldn’t give him anything near a get of a jail free card with the country when it comes to his filthy filthy use of racism and bigotry for years and years now.
MSNBC is reporting that Bannon submitted his resignation on 8/7 to be effective 8/14 which was supposedly his one year anniversary with Team Hate.
Let’s also remember that Bannon is the direct tie to Cambridge Analytica which is where all the Big Data dirty tricks were run, possibly using Mercer money.
I wonder if Mueller has already “spoken” with Mr. Bannon.

I’ll be happy to see Bannon off to spend more time with the old pizza boxes and empty bottles of Jack that likely litter his place of abode, but Trump is and will remain Trump. The ugly racism we’ve seen all along comes from Trump, and won’t stop with this. Would be glad to see Bannon gone. Then on to getting the Trump stain out of the White House.
