WRT the Boston “event”, everything I’m hearing suggests that the BPD is all over this. They really upped their game after the Marathon bombing four years ago. Sounds as though the turnout on the knucklehead side is going to be fairly sparse, and then you have helpful little things like none of that open carry nonsense, nor are the cops likely to be letting anyone bring helmets and shields into the Common.
